Five things to have on file

What belongs behind a label claim.

Before an exosome number goes on a label, five things belong on file.

  1. The method and instrument that produced it.
  2. Whether it was measured on the raw ingredient or the finished product.
  3. How many lots, with lot numbers and dates.
  4. A blank: the same formula without the vesicle ingredient, measured the same way.
  5. The unit, written out in full: per mL, per gram or per vial, at release or at expiry.
Keep these with the data behind the claim.

One lot shows what one sample measured on one day. We treat three lots as the floor behind a label claim. That is how we work, not a rule from a regulator.

If you already have these and want a second read, an Exosome Claim Audit covers every claim on one product, in writing, in 5 business days. About the Claim Audit
